Certified Pressure Cleaning is part of Select Group, the team behind Select Coolroom Construction. We bring the same emphasis on clear scopes, documented work and straightforward pricing to residential and commercial exterior cleaning across all of Sydney.
What is on the truck
A mobile unit on a trailer, with one hundred metres of hose. Hot water and cleaning chemicals are on board, which is what lets us take oil, grease and gum off concrete rather than just wetting it.
Hot water is not a surcharge. It is either the right method for your surface or it is not, and the job sheet says which. The same goes for pressure: houses, roofs and render are soft washed, and the lance stays off anything the material will not take.
Insurance and paperwork
Public liability cover is in place, and the certificate of currency is supplied with commercial and strata quotes or on request. On commercial and strata sites the completed job file also records the containment, the products used and the disposal route for the wash water.
Where we work from, and why there is nothing to visit
The base is Penrith, in Western Sydney, and we work across all of Sydney. There is no shopfront to visit, because the work happens at your place.
Select Group already builds and installs coolrooms out of Western Sydney as Select Coolroom Construction. This is the same family and the same way of working, in a different trade.
On reviews
Certified Pressure Cleaningis new, so we are building our review history from the beginning. Until then, we invite customers to judge us by the clarity of our pricing, the care in our process and the documentation supplied with each job. Reviews go up here as they arrive, with the customer’s name against them.
Published prices
Every standard package price is on the site, one figure with GST already in it. You can check what a house wash costs before you speak to anybody.
A written scope before the work
Surfaces, measured areas, the method for each one, what is included, what is excluded and one total. That figure is the figure on the invoice.
Documentation after it
The same sheet comes back with the invoice. On commercial work the file also records containment, products and where the wash water went.

The whole document is below, blank. Every quote we send uses these fields, and the same sheet comes back with the invoice at the end.

Five things worth checking, on us or on anybody else
These are the five things that most often go wrong on an exterior clean. Ask them of us. Then ask them of the next quote you get.
The written price is the price on the day
You get the figure before we come, and the figure on the invoice is that figure. If what we find is different from the photographs, you hear about it before any water runs.
A stated method for tile roofs that are not sarked
Water driven through the gaps in an unsarked tile roof is the worst thing that can happen on a roof clean, so tile is soft washed and the downpipes are handled before we start.
Broken tiles photographed and reported
If we find a broken tile it goes in the report with a photograph, before anything is put back. You decide what happens next.
We turn up, and we call back
Every booking is confirmed by a person on the phone within one business day, and the date we agree is the date we come.
Ask for the paperwork before you book

We only accept work we can complete safely and price clearly
Six jobs we turn down, and the reason for each. Anybody can list what they clean. A list of refusals shows you where the line is, before somebody points a lance at your house.
No pressure and no soft wash on asbestos or fibro
High pressure and soft washing of asbestos material is prohibited. If a wall is fibro, or we think it might be, we stop and tell you.
No high pressure on an unsarked tile roof
Tile roofs are soft washed. High pressure drives water through the gaps and into the ceiling.
No painting over broken tiles
If we find a broken tile, it goes in the report with a photo. We do not cover it up.
No wash water into the stormwater drain
Wash water is captured and disposed of properly. Putting it down the drain is a pollution offence.
Hard surfaces are cleaned for a reason
We clean hard surfaces where mould, oil, grime, contamination or slippery build-up requires treatment. Under the Sydney Water Water Wise Guidelines that is what a hard surface may be washed for.
No kitchen canopy or exhaust work
That is a different trade with its own standard. We clean bin bays, back of house concrete and drains, not the canopy.

Not down the stormwater drain. Where a surface carries oil, chemicals or paint residue, the water is contained, recovered and disposed of through a lawful route, and the job file records which one.
