Pressure cleaning in Camden and Narellan

Pressure cleaning in Camden and Narellan is house work. More than nine homes in ten across the Camden council area are detached houses, from the older streets of Camden to the new estates of the growth area. We do house washes, gutters, roofs, decks and driveways, and the wash water stays out of the Nepean River and Wianamatta South Creek.

The figures below are from the Census and Camden Council, with every source linked at the end.

What is different about a Camden and Narellan job

More than nine homes in ten are houses

At the 2021 Census, 92.5 per cent of the 37,171 occupied private dwellings in the Camden local government area were separate houses, and 1.0 per cent were flats or apartments. Across New South Wales it was 65.6 and 21.7 per cent.

Narellan follows the council area: 90.6 per cent separate houses of 1,200 occupied dwellings. The older town of Camden is a little different, with 73.8 per cent separate houses and 17.2 per cent semi detached and townhouses, of 1,283 dwellings.

So a job here is almost always a house: walls, gutters, a roof, a driveway, a patio.

The Nepean and Wianamatta South Creek

Camden Council says the Nepean River and Wianamatta South Creek are the two main waterways in the local government area, and that both drain to the Hawkesbury River. They are the same two waterways Penrith names in its own area, further downstream.

Council says stormwater is collected separately from sewage and is not usually treated before it enters waterways, and that runoff from driveways, roads, roofs, car parks, footpaths and gardens travels through the stormwater system to local creeks.

Its stormwater pledge asks residents to sweep leaves and grass clippings into the green bin rather than washing them into kerbside drains, which it says cause local flooding and add unwanted nutrients. Gutters and paths are swept or collected before any water runs on our jobs for the same reason.

A growth area across three councils

Camden Council says the South West Growth Area comprises 16 precincts across the Camden, Campbelltown and Liverpool local government areas. Among Camden's is the Turner Road precinct, covering Gledswood Hills and Gregory Hills.

New estates next to an established town means two kinds of house in the same postcode: a recent build carrying building dust, and an older one carrying years of growth on its shaded side.

The council guidance we read before a Camden and Narellan job

The council for Camden and Narellan is Camden Council. The state rule underneath every council is the same: wash water must not enter the stormwater system. The council page is where the local detail lives, and it is the one we check for the address.

Camden Council, Our Waterways

Asked about Camden and Narellan

Where does stormwater go in Camden?

Camden Council names the Nepean River and Wianamatta South Creek as the area's two main waterways, both draining to the Hawkesbury River. Stormwater is not usually treated before it gets there.

Do you work in the new estates as well as old Camden?

Yes. Both are house work. A new house usually needs building dust washed off, and an older one usually needs growth treated on the shaded side.

Can you do the gutters and the house on one visit?

Yes, and it costs less than the two separately because it is one setup. Leaves come out of the gutters and go in the green waste, not the drain.

Is there a loading for Camden?

There is no regional loading. The one published travel line is on the prices page and written on your quote if it applies.

Where the local detail came from

Every local figure and rule on this page is somebody else's published work, and here it is. Each link was opened and returned a page on the date shown. If one of them changes, this page is wrong and we would rather you could check.
